Abe Melamed - Forward

Dr. Jacob Robinson, a historian of the destruction of Eastern European Jewry during the Nazi regime, died Monday Oct. 28, 1977 at the New York Infirmary at the age of 88. He was the founder of the institute or Jewish Affairs and was a consultant to Justice Robert H. Jackson, chief counsel at the Nuremberg war crime trials in 1946. Dr. Robinson, who was born in Lithuania, served In the Lithuanian Parliament from 1922 to 1926. In 1932 he became legal adviser to that country's Foreign Office.
